Generosity in quotes: Victor Frankl

“Don’t aim for success, the more you aim for it and make it a target, the more you are going to miss it. For success, like happiness, cannot be pursued, it must ensue, and it only does so as the unintended side-effect of one’s dedication to a cause greater than oneself or as a by-product of ones surrender to a person other than oneself.” —

  1. Good one!

    • Agreed, Sarah. I feel sad for people so intent on being a success that they wear themselves out in the chase, growing increasingly miserable. You are a model of the better way as you’ve taken on the challenge of helping make your community a better place for all who live there. I am so proud of you.
