My name is Rebekah Basinger and I created Generous Matters as a place to reflect publicly on issues that dominate my thinking. On most days, those include fundraising, board governance, stewardship, faithfulness, and generosity in all its forms. I am also interested in the interplay of justice and philanthropy.

Knowing there are folks who regularly look in on my ponderings helps insure my discipline. When what I write generates comments from readers, that’s frosting on the blog.
