“In the Christian tradition we talk about living ‘as is unto the Lord.’ Giving our best because it is giving to God. Regardless of what faith tradition we come from, there is value in continually giving our best. Being known as someone who will do what they say. I think this recognizes too that our best may not be perfect. So if you’re worried about always trying to be perfect, perhaps you’ll find a little relief in this. Sometimes we need to be okay with being okay (while striving to learn all the nuances of completing something perfectly).”
